Mr. Wilson, 72, of Columbia, died Sunday, February 1, 2004 at Meadowview Health and Rehabilitation Center in Minden.
Mr. Wilson was a postal supervisor for the United States Postal Service. He was a member of the American Legion and VFW Post in Alexandria and he was a member of First United Methodist Church in Alexandria. He was also a United States Army veteran of the Korean War.
He is preceded in death by his parents, George Oliver and Nan Conerly Wilson.
Survivors include his wife, Aliene Allen Wilson of Columbia; a son, George C. Wilson of Austin, Texas; a brother, George L. Wilson of Phoenix, Arizona; and a sister, Connie Haines of Tucson, Arizona.
Friends may call from 4 until 8 p.m. Tuesday and from 8 a.m. until time of service Wednesday at the funeral home.
