Charles F. Barton, 76, of Crystal Spring, PA, died at his home on Tuesday, November 4, 1986. He was born May 11, 1910 in Crystal Spring, a son of the late Jesse and Ivah (Mellott) Barton. He was married to Lydia (Beeler) Barton, March 31, 1934, and she survives along with five daughters: Lois, wife of Paul E. Walters Jr., of New Paris; Carol, wife of Elmer Bittner, of Manassas, VA; Karen, wife of Terry E. Weist, of Crystal Spring; Linda, wife of William E. Francis, of Crystal Spring; and Susan, wife of Jerry R. Foor, of Breezewood. One brother and one sister, Roy Barton, of Crystal Spring; and Mary, wife of William Schultz, of Warfordsburg, PA; also survive along with three grandchildren, two step-grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Val Jean and Homer, and a daughter Joy Ann Barton in 1960. Mr. Barton was of the Protestant faith and retired in 1975 from Morris International, Everett. Funeral services: Thursday, November 6, at 11 a.m. in Dalla Valle Funeral Chapel, Main Street, Everett, with Rev. Jay Saxe officiating. Burial in Akersville Methodist Cemetery.
