Ernest Mast, 67, of Meyersdale RD 3, died Friday, March 10, 1989, at Sacred Heart Hospital, Cumberland, Md.
Born June 1, 1921, in Choteau, Okla., he was the son of the late Daniel and Mary (Troyer) Mast. He was owner-operator of the Mast Furniture Store, Grantsville, Md., until his retirement after 34 years. He was a farmer after his retirement and a member of Springs Mennonite Church. Surviving are his widow, Sara (Eichorn) Mast; two sons: Glenn Mast, Grantsville, Md.; and Daniel Mast, Springs; two daughters: Esther Mevson, Hartley, Del.; and Maryanna Durst, Grantsville; one brother, Edwin Mast, Salisbury; one sister, Fannie Mullet, Greenwood, Del.; and eight grandchildren.
Friends were received at the Newman Funeral Home, Grantsville. Services were conducted Monday at 10:30 a.m. at the Springs Mennonite Church by Rev. James Mullett and Rev. Steve Heatwole. Interment, Springs Cemetery.
