Wilson Jackson Burke, Jr., 81, of Maurertown, Virginia passed away April 28, 2011 at the VA Medical Center in Martinsburg, WV.

A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, May 3, 2011, at 11:00 a.m. at Maddox Funeral Home with Pastor Joe Flemming officiating.

Mr. Burke was born on April 29, 1929 in Front Royal, Virginia, a son of the late Wilson Jackson Burke, Sr. and Mary Andrews Burke.

He retired from the U.S. Navy. After retirement he worked on farm equipment.

Mr. Burke is survived by two daughters, Shirley Ann Feldner of Milford, OH, and Patricia Ann Ordile of Maurertown; one son, Wilson Randolph Burke of Toms Brook; 2 granddaughters; 2 grandsons; 1 great-grand-child; and 14 siblings.

Honorary pallbearers will be United States Veterans.

Family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at the funeral home.

Memorial Contributions may be made to the (Disabled American Veterans) DAV Memorial Program, P.O. Box 14301, Cincinnati, OH 45250-0301.

Arrangements are being handled by the Maddox Funeral Home, Front Royal, VA.
