ROBERT BALL OBITUARY
Robert Fulton "Bob" Ball Jr., 86, of Springfield died Monday, Feb. 12, 2007, at Belle Maison Nursing Home.
He was born July 13, 1920, in Frierson, the son of the late Robert Fulton and Lucille Lacombe.
He worked as a barber and was a retired school bus driver for Livingston Parish.
He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II.
Mr. Ball was a loving husband, father and grandfather. Surviving are his wife, Leona Kennedy Ball; daughter, Lois Elaine Anglin; daughters and sons-in-law, Gwyn Ellen and John Babin, Linda Arnell and Larry Ryan, and Joyce Lavonne and Richard Samuels; eight grandchildren, Melanie Babin Hayes, Michael Hayes, Michelle Hayes, Jeff Ryan, Chuck Babin, Erika Samuels Brown, Ehryn Samuels Ridgedell and Ashley Ryan Worsham; 15 great-grandchildren, Cory, Jordyn and Lucy Hayes, Miranda and Madison Babin, Brooke and Hayden Ridgedell, Skyler and Konner Brown, Lauren Necaize and Lyndsey Worsham, Jackson and Averie Ryan, and Will and Nate Hayes; brother, Cecil Ball; and extended family, Sharon Irby Murphy, Dr. Sidney and Dr. Anne Guedry and Forrest Guedry.
He was preceded in death by seven sisters and five brothers.
Pallbearers will be Mike Hayes, Jeff Babin, Chuck Babin, Lloyd Ball, Johnnie Ball and Keith Kennedy.
Friends will be received at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home, Ponchatoula, on Thursday, Feb. 15, from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. and in the chapel on Friday from 8 a.m. until funeral service at 10 a.m., officiated by the Rev. James Ray Robertson, the Rev. Terry Lobell and the Rev. Bob Diech.
Interment in the Carter Cemetery, Springfield.
