CECIL BALL, AGE 101

And a resident of the Hackley Community died at 5:45 pm Wednesday November 28, 2012 at Riverside Medical Center. He was born September 22, 1911 to Robert and Mecie Terrell Ball in Walthal County. Mr. Ball was a former dairyman and retired from the Louisiana Highway Department. He was a longtime member of New State Line Missionary Baptist Church and a member of the Pine Masonic Lodge for 62 years.

2 Sons and Daughters in law: Lloyd and Waver Ball,

Eld. Doyle and Diane Ball all of Franklinton

Daughter and Son in law: Lynn and J.W. Mulina of Franklinton

Son in law: Richard Cook of Pride, LA

8 Grandchildren: Joy Callahan, Darryl Cook, Eld. Duane Ball, Sonja Nichols, Shane Ball, Grayson Ball, Joseph Ball, Brandon Mulina

11 Great-grandchildren

3 Great-great-grandchildren

Sisters in law: Leona Ball, Mavis Parker, Ellrene Duncan

Also numerous nieces and nephews

He was preceded in death by his wife of 65 years Lillian Duncan Ball, a daughter Roxie Ball Cook, his parents, 5 brothers and 6 sisters

Visitation will be at Crain Funeral Home on Friday November 30th from 5 pm until 9 pm and after 9 am on Saturday. A funeral service will be held at 11 am Saturday in the funeral home chapel with Eld. Duane Ball, Eld. Doyle Ball, Eld. J.W. Graves and Eld. Tommy Hudnall officiating.

Burial will follow in the Ball Cemetery

Pallbearers: Shane Ball, Darrell Cook, Grayson Ball, Joseph Ball, Brandon Mulina, Brent Duncan

Honorary Pallbearers: Johnny Mord, Roy Duncan, James Lester Wood, Harold Crain
