William Milton Norris, son of Alfred and Sarah Norris, was born in Madison County, Iowa, May 25, 1856 and died in Omaha, Nebraska, of acute heart disease March 19, 1922, aged 65 years, 9 months and 24 days.

The funeral was held at the home of W. F. Gentry on Wednesday, March 22, and burial was made in the Bennet Cemetery.

His Mother, Father, and one brother, Jasper Norris, have preceded him to the great Beyond. He leaves one sister, Mrs. Anna Hemphill of Dexter, Iowa, three half brothers and one half sister. They are Oscar N. Norris of Barney, Iowa, Mrs. Lusetta Evans, of Thedford, Nebraska, Mrs. Kate Griffith of Patterson, Iowa, Frank Norris of Thayer, Iowa, Jud and Ella Norris of Crookston, Minnesota, Mrs. Addie Moore of Indianola, Iowa, and Mrs. Minnie Gentry of Earlham, Iowa, and other relatives.

Most of his life was spent here and he is known to a large circle of friends and acquaintances.
