Alfred Norris, of Douglas township, died last Friday evening of dropsy from which disease he had been suffering for some time. The funeral was held Sunday, the body being interred at the Bennett cemetery.

Obituary
Alfred Norris died June 15th, 1894, at his home in Madison township. His sickness has been long, and yet he was confined to his bed but one week. He leaves a large family and a host of friends to mourn his loss. We believe our loss is his gain. That the Comforter may abide with the bereaved ones in the prayer of the writer.
