FUNERAL OF MRS. DANIEL HAZELTINE

The funeral of Mrs. Daniel Hazeltine, who died at her home in North Warren, was held at the Congregational church in Jamestown, N. Y., late Tuesday morning. The exercises were opened with prayer by Rev. Hiram Eddy, of Caanan, Conn., singing by the choir, scriptural rending by Rev. E. B. Burrow, and a touching address by Rev. Elliott Hall. Rev Dr. Eddy followed with a pathetic review of the "dead times of the past," referring to the fact that on the same day fifty-eight years ago Mrs. Hazeltine joined the congregational church. During the singing of another hymn the many old friends present took a last look upon the face of Mrs. Hazeltine. The burial took place in the Hazeltine lot, the pall bearers being William Hazeltine, Daniel H. Post, Dr. Laban Hazeltine, Dr. W. M. Bemus, Dr. Morris N. Bemus, and Emmet H. Bemus. A large number of kindred and friends of deceased were present from Warren, Jamestown, Busti, Ellery, Stockton and other places.
