Mrs. Allen Oliver

Mrs. Louard Ethel Oliver, 518 South Harrison S., wife of Allen Oliver, passed away at her home Sunday evening, February 7, at eight-thirty o'clock, after several days of illness due to influenza and an asthmatic condition.

Mrs. Oliver was a daughter of Mrs. May Ashlock Milstead, Princeton, and the late John Milstead, born November 15, 1909.
She was a devout member of the Central Presbyterian Church and a worker with the young Scot group; she was an active member of the Rebeckah Lodge and she served as an official of the organization.

Besides the husband and aged mother the following sons and daughters share the bereavement; namely J.C. Oliver of the U.S. Army stationed in Columbus, GA., Mrs. Roy Saum, Evansville, Indiana; Gene Edward Oliver of the U.S. Air Corps, in Scott Field, Illinois and David Oliver, Princeton. There are also eight grandchildren to share in their great loss.

Consoling funeral services were held at Morgan Funeral Home, Wednesday, February 10, at two o'clock in the afternoon. The Rev. Orville Pearson was in charge. Interment followed in Cedar Hill Cemetery.
