Abraham Walworth Tappan, whose remains were brought to this city from Kentucky last week Wednesday, was born Oct. 21, 1827. He married Abbie V. Hunt, who died in 1886. He came to Woodstock in 1855, living here until 1864, when he went to Louisville, Ky., where he was engaged in business up to the time of his death, Mar. 11, 1900, when he was in his 73rd year. He leaves one son -- Walworth H.
