"Stevensville Woman Dies
Mrs. F. E. Eastabrook, 68, Dies at Her Home at Stevensville, a Victim of Pneumonia; Largely Attended Funeral Services Held on Monday Afternoon.
Mrs. Ella Stevens Eastabrook, wife of Frank E. Eastabrook, passed away Saturday afternoon at 3:30 o'clock at her home in Stevensville, at the age of 68 years as the result of an illness with pneumonia and complications.
Mrs. Eastabrook was a daughter of the late Jonathan B. and Sarah Rockwell Stevens, and had been a lifelong resident of Stevensville. She was very active in church work and social activities, being one of the best known residents of that place.
She is survived by her husband, one daughter, Mrs. J. Andrew Morrow of Towanda and one son, Victor of Binghamton and four granddaughters.
The funeral services were held on Monday afternoon at the home at 3:00 o'clock. Rev. Younger, assisted by Rev. M. L. Cook, officiated. The pallbearers were: Harvey Edwards, Gilbert Summer, Henry Stevens, W. Henry Jones, Edward Frantz and William Bates. Burial was made in the Camptown cemetery."
