He was born on April 26, 1919, in Steedman, the son of Leonard and Gertrude Rose Zbinden.
He married Jane Howerton on October 23, 1937. She survives in their home in Fulton.
Other suvivors include, his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Zbinden of Fulton, one son, James Kenneth Zbinden of Fulton, two daughters, Arlane Yeager of Otterville, Missouri and Pennie Lynn Flowers of Fulton, one sister, Mildred Willett of Fulton, six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at Maupin Funeral Home on Thursday, May 1, at 10:30am with Reverend Pete Soens officiating.
Burial will be in Hillcrest Cemetary.
Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday evening from 6 until 8pm.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Salvation Army Childrens Home.
