EDENS, Reverend Samuel Enoch, 91, entered into rest April 24, 2011. Samuel proudly served his country in the U.S. Army where he was a veteran of WWII. He was an avid outdoorsman who loved fishing, hunting and farming. His proudest accomplish was being an Ordained Minister, a founding member of Riverhills Church of God, Interim, and Associate Pastor of Brandon Church of God, as well as leading many other ministries throughout the United States. Samuel owned and operated Edens' Tile Company and Edens' Sporting Goods. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 64 years, Sylvia Edens; parents, Reuben and Hassie Edens; brothers, Therman, Maynard, and Kline Edens; sisters, Ruby Adams, Dovie and Catherine Edens. He is survived by his son, Michael Edens (Margerita); daughters, Sharon Solberg (John), Bonnie Robinson (Arlis) and Linda Gonzalez (Gary); brothers, Neal Edens (Noma) and Amos Edens (Carol); sisters, Cathy Morrow, Martha Collins and Birdie Smith (Frank); 13 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren and an extended loving family and friends. Samuel was very much loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him. In lieu of flowers, please make memorial contributions in his honor to: Boyette Springs Church of God. A Funeral Service will be held 3 pm Sunday, May 1, 2011, with visitation from 2 pm-3 pm at Hillsboro Memorial Funeral Home. Interment will immediately follow at Hillsboro Memorial Gardens.
