Ralph Doyle Andrews
Ralph Doyle Andrews, 69, of 116 Glencrest Drive Toccoa, died in a local hospital early Monday morning, Jan. 8, after an illness of several weeks.
The son of the late Thomas Warren and Nancy Williams Andrews, he was born May 8, 1909, in Franklin County but had resided practically all of his life in Toccoa where he was engaged in the restaurant business.
Mr. Andrews was a member of the First Baptist Church of Toccoa, the Agoga Bible Class and was a charter member of Toccoa Elks Club.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Floy Black Andrews; one son, Mike Andrews of Toccoa; two grandchildren, Tammie Andrews and Mike Andrews Jr., both of Toccoa; three brothers, Clyde Andrews, Broughton Andrews, and Dwight Andrews, all of Toccoa and one sister, Mrs. Melvin Westmoreland of Toccoa.
Funeral was Tuesday at 3:30 p.m. from the Hillcrest Chapel of Acree-Davis Funeral Home with the Rev. David Turner and the Rev. James Downs officiating.
Pallbearers were George Camp Jr., Paul Berchin, Walter Jordan, Kenneth Andrews, Bill Andrews and Jack Westmoreland.
Interment was in Stephens Memorial Gardens with Acree-Davis Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
