She was an elementary school teacher, teaching primarily kindergarten and first grade in the Allentown School District for more than 30 years before retiring. She was a graduate of Muhlenberg College and attended Millersville University. Born in Allentown, she was a daughter of the late Clinton J. and Anna M. (Edwards) Bloss. She was a member of the former Trinity United Church of Christ, Allentown. Survivors: No immediate survivors. Graveside services: 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, Union Cemetery, Slatington. No calling hours.
