Esther A. Schulz, 88, of Hicksville, Ohio, formerly of Ossian died at Parkview Memorial Hospital on Sunday, Feb. 26, 2007.
She was born in Monroe County on Dec. 11, 1918, a daughter of Everett and Cora (Burton) Abbott. She was married in Brown County on March 6, 1939 to Thomas E. Schulz, who preceded her in death on Sept. 13, 1989.
She was a homemaker and a member of Living Faith Missionary Church.
She is survived by her daughters Ruth Ann (Fred) Jolliff of Ossian and Mary Lou (Ed) Bauer of Hicksville, along with six grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, and seven great great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son Larry Schulz.
Calling will be from 1 to 3 and 5 to 7 p.m. on Friday at the Elzey-Patterson-Rodak Funeral Home in Ossian. Services will follow at 7 p.m. on Friday at the funeral home with Rev. Floyd Vieth officiating.
Burial will be at noon on Saturday at Valhalla Memory Gardens in Bloomington. A graveside service will be held at noon.
