Mrs. Martha Mathilda Pottorff, 94 year old resident of Cashtown, widow of Henry Pottorff, died at 11:30 this morning at the home of her daughter, Mrs. J. B. Hollabaugh, West Main Street, Biglerville. Complication of diseases was give as the cause of death.
Mrs. Pottorff, one of the oldest native born residents of Adams county, had been visiting her daughter in Biglerville. She had been in failing health and her condition became slightly worse last Saturday, changing to a critical condition early today. Death ensued shortly before noon.
The deceased was born in Franklin township, near Cashtown, the daughter of the late Henry and Catherine Lawver.
Surviving are her daughter, Mrs. Hollabuagh, and a son, John C Cook, of Cashtown.
Funeral arrangements will be made later.
