Died-on the 13th instant, in Franklin township, Christina Pfingstag, aged about 72 years. The deceased was generally known by the name of “Old Christina.” She and a brother of hers emigrated from Germany to this country, in their early youth. About 10 years ago she came to Adams county, since which time she heard never anything of her brother. Hence she was left in a strange land, without a single relative; but so amiable and Christian was her deportment, that she gathered around her a number of friends, who kindly ministered to her in her sickness, and gave her a decent burial in the grave-yard of Flohr’s Church. The Lord bless those her friends, for their kindness.
