Funeral services for P.R. (Raymond) Gandy, 84, were held in First Baptist Church in Olney with the pastor, Rev. Wayne Shuffield, officiating.

Gandy and Doris Simmons were married December 24, 1933, in Eastland in the parsonage of the Christian church. They have lived in Olney since 1944. He was a retired superintendent for Tenneco [Tennessee Gas Transmission] Oil Co., where he worked for 13 years. He was a member of First Baptist Church, Masonic Lodge No. 790 and Order of Eastern Star.

Survivors are his wife; four sons, Gary Gandy of Shamrock, Larry Ron Gandy of Dennison, Jerry Don Gandy of Crane and Mickey Gandy of Breckenridge; three brothers, L.E. Gandy of Monahans, A.E. Gandy of Eden and Cleve Gandy of Breckenridge; two sisters, Myrtal Amett of El Paso and Margaret Powell of Healdton, Okla.; 13 granchildren; and 13 great grandchildren.
