Thelma Faye Doty Calvert, 95, of Pana died Saturday, March 11, 2006 at 7:17 p.m. in Pana Community Hospital.
She was born October 1, 1910 in Beecher City, IL, the daughter of William LeRoy & Edith A. (Doty) Doty. A homemaker, she had worked at the shoe factory in Effingham prior to moving to California. She came back to this area in 1975. Thelma was a member of the Church of Christ, Pana and Pana Area Senior Citizens.
She married Harold V. Calvert on April 8, 1929 and he preceded her in death on July 18, 1977. She is survived by two sons: Harold Robert "Bob" Calvert & wife Janetta, Pana, IL and William Lee Calvert, Highland, CA; and by 11 grandchildren; 24 great grandchildren; 12 great-great grandchildren; and by her sister Norma Siebert, Altamont, IL.
She was also preceded in death by two sisters and a brother.

Funeral services will be Thursday, March 16, 2006 in McCracken-Dean Funeral Home at 10:00 a.m. with Preacher Earl Baker, Church of Christ, Pana officiating. Burial will be in Beecher City Cemetery, Beecher City, IL There will be no visitation.
