Funeral services for Alfred A Amundson, 92, were held at the Miller Funeral Home at Dallas on Saturday, Jan 21 with the Rev Clarence N Amundson officiating.

Mr Amundson was born at Dallas on Feb 22, 1885. He died at the Barron Memorial Community hospital on Jan 18, 1978.

He was married to Pearl Nelson on March 3, 1917, and farmed his entire life in the Town of Dallas.

He is survived by two daughters, Mrs Howard (Merlyn) Hanson of Cameron and Mrs Roland (Alma) Smith of Woodville; 11 grandchildren; and 16 great grandchildren; three brothers, William of Dallas, Norman of Ridgeland and Elmer of Cable; one sister, Mrs Nora Wisti of Minneapolis; nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a son, Ernest, four brothers and three sisters.

Burial was at the Dallas cemetery.
