Alma Smith, age 92 of Woodville, Wisconsin died Thursday, April 20, 2017 at Western Wisconsin Health in Baldwin.
Funeral service will be Saturday, April 22 at 11 a.m. at Zion Lutheran Church, Woodville.
Visitation will be Saturday, April 22 from 9-11 a.m. at Zion Lutheran prior to the service.
Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Cemetery, Woodville.

Alma Pauline Smith, 92, peacefully passed away Thursday, April 20th, 2017 at Western Wisconsin Health, surrounded by her loving family. Alma was born on January 14th, 1925 to Alfred and Pearl Amundson at their farm in Barron County. She was the youngest of three children. She married Roland Smith in 1944 in Gainesville, Tx before he was deployed overseas for WWII. To this union was born a daughter whom they named Patricia Ann. After returning home, Roland worked for St. Croix County while Alma maintained their home. They were happily married for 50 years, until Roland’s death in 1994.
Alma had many hobbies. She was an avid card and game player. She loved crocheting, knitting and cooking. In recent years she enjoyed playing guitar in the band Country Memories. However her favorite past time was spending time with her family.
Alma is proceeded in death by her parents, husband Roland, brother Ernest, sister Merlyn (Howard) Hanson, brother and sister in law Robert and Lorraine Smith.
She is survived by her daughter Patricia (Orville “Bud”) Mathison, Woodville; grandsons: David (Cindy) Mathison, Hudson; Jerry (Jill) Mathison, Woodbury, MN; great grandchildren: Jenna Mathison, Minneapolis, MN; Chad Mathison, Hudson; Nicole (Kevin) Walter, Portland, OR; and Makenzie (Mike) La Rose, Dallas, TX; step great grandchildren: Kileen Ewy, Princeton, MN; and Jack Ewy, Deer Creek, MN; great great grandchildren: Layton and Bryar Walter, Portland, OR; as well as many nieces and nephews
