Susannah McCallie Davis Jack was the wife of Jeremiah Jack, 1847 Oregon pioneers, originally from Tennessee. She was married first to John Davis. She was the daughter of John McCallie born in Whithorn, Scotland and Nancy Burney of Scotland. They were from the First Families of Tennessee. Susannah is the aunt of Thomas Hooke McCallie, founder of the prestigious McCallie School (boys prep school) in Chattanooga, Tennessee.
