Services for Harold G. Neumann, 76 of 116 W. 15th were Monday at the chapel of Apfel-Butler-Geddes Funeral Home with the Rev. Grant Story of Trinity United Methodist Church officiating. Burial was in Westlawn Cemetery.

Mr. Neumann died Saturday in an Omaha Hospital after a long illness.

He was born in Sutton to George and Eva Perlefien Neumann. As a small boy he moved with his family to a farm near Wolbach, where he grew up and began farming.

On Aug 2, 1926, he married Mable Borre at St. Paul. They lived on a farm near Wolbach until his retirement 16 years ago, when they moved to Grand Island.

He was a member of the Faith United Methodist Church and the Grand Island Eagles Club.

Survivors include his widow; 2 sons, LeRoy and Jack, both of Omaha, 9 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; a brother, Ralph of Central City and 2 sisters, Mrs. Dorothy Eigbrett of Buffalo, NY, and Mrs. Mable Auten of Pierce. He was preceded in death by 2 sisters.
