Rev. Barney E. Antrobus, 83, widely known Baptist minister and evangelist, who had been conducting evangelists services at the former Dobe Inn here for the past several months, died at 10 p.m. at the home of a daughter, Mrs. Allison Yeager, in Arkdelphia, Ark. He left here last week.

Born in Illinois where he spent his boyhood, Rev. Antrobus was the pastor of the First Baptist Church in this city for more than 20 years. He also served as pastor of the Calvary Baptist Church here. After completing this service he moved to Texas where he resided until the death of his wife a few years ago.

Rev Antrobus received his education in Illinois where he took academic and college work.
Surviving besides the daughter, are two grandsons and a sister living in Hazen, Ark., near Arkdelphia.

Funeral services and burial will be in Arkdelphia Friday afternoon.
