Fred K. Lincks

Fred K. Lincks, 82, died Saturday, Aug. 5, 2000, at Heartland Healthcare in Plainfield. He was a resident of Avon.

He was born Oct. 2, 1917. His parents were Fred and Nancy C. (Hoskins) Lincks. Survivors include one daughter, Carol D. Rogers of Mooresville; one sister, Romine Davis of Florida; and one grandson.

He was a rig operator for Matlock Drilling Company for five years before retiring in 1996.

He was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II. He was a member of LST-515 Association.

A service will be conducted at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday at Forest Lawn Wilson St. Pierre Funeral Home, State Road 135 Chapel. Friends may call from 4 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Burial will be at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens in White River Township.

Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
