Mrs. Wadel, Alma Maack was born at Galesville, September 5, 1874 and was 52 years, and one month old. She was confirmed in the Lutheran faith at Barr Oak, April 8, 1888. She married William Wadel, December 31, 1891, and four children were born. They are Irvin Wedel of Burns; Clarence Wedel of Mindoro; Mrs. Charles Wedel of (LaCrosse my guess); and Mrs. Rex (Esther) Brown, of Lewis Valley. Two brothers and six sisters survive, these being Otto, Maack and Anna Miller of Sparta; Ernest Maack of Tacoma, Wash.; Lena Dessner of Bangor; Helen Kirchner of Lewis Valley; Mrs. Bert (Minnie) Swarts of La Crosse; Della Dutcher of Mindoro Hilda Garvis(Garves)of Bangor; and (missing info). Her husband preceded her in death some time ago.

Had Heart Trouble
Mrs. Wadel had suffered for some time with high blood pressure and heart trouble. On Thursday of last week she had had slight stroke and physicians had informed her family of her condition. It is believed that these ailments were the direct cause of her death.

Also an obituary that I was given to me says
Her Brother Otto Maack parents were Karl and Theresa Maack and that he was born in Saxony Germany Aug 22 1869 and he was 13 months old when he came to the United States with his parents, who settled near Galesville, where they lived for 4 years. Later they moved to Burr Oak. He married Elizabeth Harmon and together they had 2 sons. Clarence and Leo. His wife died in 1903. That he was one of 14 children.
