The funeral for Nancy Loraine Wise, 69, of Mount Crawford will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at Mount Crawford United Methodist Church.
The Rev. Lesley E. Trail will conduct the service. Burial will be at Mount Crawford Cemetery.
Mrs. Wise died March 30, 1992, in Rockingham Memorial Hospital.
She was born Sept. 5, 1922 in Rockingham County and was a daughter of the late Ellis S. and Maude C. Frye Armentrout.
Mrs. Wise was a member of Mount Crawford United Methodist Church. She had worked at the Village Inn for 15 years and at Bridgewater Home for seven years.
On July 29, 1940, she married Earl C. Wise, the former postmaster of Mount Crawford who survives.
Also surviving are two daughters, Brenda W. Lilly of Bridgewater and Patricia W. Sayre of Nashville, N.C.; two sisters, Helen Keagy of Mount Crawford and Bettie Carper of White Post; two brothers, Carl Armentrout of Elkton and Ellis S. Armentrout of Harrisonburg; five grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
The family will receive friends 7:30-8:30 p.m. today at Lindsey Harrisonburg Funeral home.
