Funeral services were held Saturday afternoon at the First Presbyterian church here with the Rev E R Mitchell officiating. Interment was in Hillside cemetery.
Mrs Hayne was born Adelaide Andrews, daughter of Dan and Leta Weatherly Andrews on June 14, 1902, in Marshalltown. She grew to womanhood in Marshalltown and attended the schools there. She was united in marriage to Charles A Hayne at Keosauqua on July 28, 1920.
The couple lived in Marshalltown for 18 years and moved to their present farm southeast of State Center in 1937 where they have since resided.
Mrs Hayne was a member of the local American Legion Auxiliary and the State Center Garden Club.
She is survived by her widower, and one son, C A Hayne Jr. Also surviving are her parents, Mr and Mrs Dan Andrews of Marshalltown, two sisters, Mrs Dorothy Ream of Marshalltown and Mrs Winifred Frimml of Racine, Wisconsin, and a brother, Carroll Andrews of Marshalltown.
