Emma was the daughter of Bennett Easterling and Mary Anne E.(Hicks) Easterling. Her family left Pickens Co., AL in 1870/1871 for Texas. She married Walton Alexander Clark Oct 10, 1871 in Henderson Co., TX and moved to Bell County, Texas about 1874. They had seven children: Gertrude (Johnson), Killie Homer, Bettie Beatrice, Artie A.(Stone), Earley, Leslie and Walton Chandler.
She is buried in the old section of the cemetery and her grave is not marked. E. A. Clark is buried next to Emma and this grave is unmarked. It is possibly her son, Earley.
