Herminia A. Lozano, 79, passed away Monday, December 27, 2004 at Valley Baptist Medical Center-Brownsville.

She was a native of Los Fresnos and had lived in Brownsville for most of her life.

She was preceded in death by three sisters, Manuela Rodriguez, Albina Garcia and Santos Abrego and two brothers Reynaldo and Rodolfo Abrego.

She is survived by one son, Roberto (Krista) Lozano; two daughters, Alma L. Benavidez and Rose Mary (Ronald) Abbott; one sister, Amelia Abrego and one brother, Ricardo Abrego; seven grandchildren and six great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held today, Wednesday, December 29, 2004 from 2 p.m. to 9 p.m. with a rosary to be recited at 7 p.m. at Garza Memorial Funeral Home Chapel.

Funeral service will be held Thursday, December 30, 2004 at 2 p.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church. Interment will follow at La Palma Cemetery.

Funeral Arrangements are under the direction of Joe I. Trevio, Garza Memorial Funeral Home, 1025 E. Jackson St., (956) 542-5511.
