Harry Bond Dies
Harry Bond, 59 years old, died last night in Canaan. Mr. Bond, a resident of Cannan, was injured while working at the Borden Creamery there about 10 days ago.
He was formerly a resident of Winsted and was a member of Union Hose Co. He was a great runner and was a member of the hose company team. When the arc lights were installed as street lights, he was one of the first trimmers in this section.
Surviving him are his wife, his mother and one sister, Mrs. Belle Provost of Torrington.
The funeral will be held at his late home in Canaan Sunday afternoon at 3:30 o'clock. Rev. Mr. Griffin of the Episcopal Church will conduct the service. Burial will be Forest View Cemetery, Winsted with Rev. Mr. Harris conducting the committal service.
