For many years, Mr. McKenzie was employed by the C and O Railroad. He had worked as a special agent in Muncie and Peru and at the time of his retirement eight years ago he was special agent in Cheviot, Ohio. During World War I, he served with the U.S. Army.
Mr. McKenzie was a member of Industry United Methodist Church, Cheviot Lodge 140, F and AM, Cheviot, Ohio, Shrine and Scottish Rite, Fort Wayne, Muncie Chapter 30 RAM, Muncie Chapter 18 Commandery, Delaware Post 19, American Legion, DAV, Moose Lodge 33, and Cheviot Low 12 Sympathy Club.
Surviving are his wife, Stella; two sons, Jack and John McKenzie, both of Muncie; two daughters, Mrs. Rose Mary Salyer and Mrs. Elsie Holeman, both of Muncie; and 16 grandchildren.
Funeral arrangements are being completed at The Meeks Mortuary.
