She was the daughter of Jefferson and Sarah Willoughby Moon.
She was married to Volney Slocum.
She had resided in the Cold Brook area most of her life but, had resided the last few years with her son, Dr. Millard Moon Slocum, Barneveld. Her husband die in 1888.
Besides Dr. Slocum, she leaves another son, Lewis Willoughby Slocum, Whitesboro; a sister, Mrs. Harry Dannehour, Herkimer; four grandchildren; seven great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren.
