Francis "Frank" Anthony Boester was born on June 11, 1894 but his birth was not registered until August 1894 which has created controversy as to his exact birth. Frank attended Hicksville High School and joined the Army in support of WWI. He was discharged in 1919 and returned to his parents home in Hicksville. A family history from the mid 1970s indicates that Frank suffered from something called "Traveling Paralysis". There were no other details but he never married and remained in the home cared for by his mother and sister Eleanor. Frank died at the VA Center in Dayton, Oho. The cause of death was listed as Arteriosclerotic Heart disease.
