Ola Stembridge, 86, of Madisonville, died July 15 at her home. Stembridge was born in Shady Grove in 1910. She was the daughter of the late George Boyd and Clara Davis Boyd. She was preceded in death by her husband, Woodrow Matchem Stembridge in 1998, as well as one sister and one brother.
Surviving are a daughter, Carolyn Milan of Madisonville; three sisters, Eve Wood of Owensboro, Anne Lester of New Port Beach, Calif., and Letha Sullivan of Mattoon, ILL.; three brothers, William Boyd of Evansville, Clifton Boyd of Louisville and Wilborn Boyd of Fruitland Park, Fla.
