ROCHESTER -- Dana Cordelia Koop, 92, Samaritan Bethany Heights, Rochester, died Thursday, June 14, 2001, at Samaritan Bethany Heights.
She was born Oct. 14, 1908, in Akeley. She married Daniel P. Koop on Aug. 22, 1933, in Wheaton, Ill. She was a registered nurse. She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary, past presidents parley, WSCS past president, 20th Century Study Club, ANA and Naomi Circle HMC Roc.
Survivors include two daughters, Danna Ihrke, Rochester, and Roberta Green, Vermillion, S.D.; a son, John Koop, Waukesha, Wis.; eight grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and a brother, Robert Peterson, Bremerton, Wash.
Her husband and three sisters and brothers died earlier.
Services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at Homestead United Methodist Church with Duane Gebhard officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery in Brainerd. Memorials are preferred to Homestead United Methodist Church and Samaritan Bethany Heights.
Arrangements are with Macken Funeral Home in Rochester.
