Mrs. White was born on September 28, 1922 to the late Mr. and Mrs. Samuel Walter (Ethel Clyde Mays) Barr. She was of the Methodist Faith and a member of The First United Methodist Church. She had an Associate of Arts Degree in Education from Young Harris College. Maylise was pre-deceased by Alton Barr, Dorsey Barr, Raymond Barr, Charles Forrest Barr and Cugette "Jet" Barr Christopher.
Mrs. White retired from the City of Warner Robins, GA as the City Bookkeeper.
Survivors include her Son Jeff (Margie) White; Grand-daughter Tracey (Brad) Wright; Twin Great Grandsons, Landon and Lucas Wright all of Warner Robins, GA and numerous nieces and nephews.
