Warner Robins: Cugette "Jet" Barr Christopher, 83, passed away on Sunday November 9, 2008. Funeral services will be held at 2 PM Wednesday at First Baptist Church. Entombment will follow in Magnolia Park Cemetery. Rev. Andy Hammack will officiate.

Mrs. Christopher was born in 1925 in Morrow, GA to the late Samuel and Ethel Clyde Mays Barr. She was a member of First Baptist Church and the Willing Workers Sunday School Class. She was also a member of the Morning Garden Club and the Warner Robins Woman's Club. She was a 1943 graduate of Young Harris College and was active in various alumni fund raising efforts of the college. She was a gracious hostess and enjoyed entertaining at her home in Warner Robins and generously shared her mountain home in Clayton with family and friends. Her culinary skills were best shown during the holiday season. She was especially well known for her coconut cakes. She was a devoted grandmother to her grandchildren who knew her as "Muz. Her siblings Alton Barr, Dorsey Barr, Raymond Barr and Charles Forrest Barr all preceded her in death.

Survivors include her husband Lamar E. "Chris" Christopher of Warner Robins. Daughter; Vicki Hank Joiner of Athens. Sister; Jackie B. White of Warner Robins. Sisters-in-law; Mary Ruth Rouse and Inez Durden both of Albany. Grandchildren; Jennifer, Jessica, Christopher and Benjamin Joiner all of Athens. The Christopher-Joiner family also gratefully appreciates the loving care that Mrs. Sandra Sanders gave to ''Jet'' for the past seven years during her illness.
