DEATH OF MRS. ELIZABETH JONES

Mrs. Elizabeth Jones, aged 70, died Sunday morning at 3:30 at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Charles Sears, on North Walnut Street. Mrs. Jones, whose home was at Elkinsville, had been spending the winter with a sister in Indianapolis and came here only a week ago and was taken ill, death being due to old age and a complication of diseases. However, death was quite unexpected.

Mrs. Jones was born in Indianapolis where she was a resident until moving to Elkinsville about 20 years ago. She was a member of the Christian Church at Elkinsville and a loveable Christian woman who had many friends to mourn her death. Mrs. Jones is survived by seven children, three daughters living here - (Mrs.) Charles Sears, Mrs. A. C. Coyle and Mrs. John Mitchell south of the city.

Funeral from the Sears residence on North Walnut Street Tuesday at 2:30 in charge of Rev. W. H. Smith of the Christian Church and interment at Rose Hill. The pall bearers are William Sears, Frank, Charles and Harry Coyle, Frank Borland and Earl Mitchell.
