Ouida Gaynelle Bennett was born in O'Berry, Georgia, the daughter of Levia Corbett Bennett and Timothy Gordon Bennett. She grew up in South Georgia and Florida. She is predeceased by her husband John Alden Heist, and survived by her children; John Kendrick Heist, Ouida Gay Heist Brumley, Robert Bennett Heist (Eugenia), five grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren. Ouida was a member of the Orlando Country Club, Mount Dora Yacht Club; PEO, a Girl Scout Leader, Co-founder of the Lakes and Hills Garden Club, voted one of the 20 best dressed women in Central Florida and an active member of her community. A graveside service will be held at 11AM on Thursday, January 8, 2009 at Pine Forest Cemetery in Mount Dora, FL with Father Robert Maurais officiating. Arrangements by ALLEN J.
