Susie is the daughter of Lemuel V. and Isabella Jane Paris. I cannot currently verify her siblings so will not add them here. Susie was born in Indian Territory Oklahoma and was classified as Native American - Cherokee. As for what percentage, I've seen 1/4 on many records and her children as 1/8 so I feel this is correct. She is on the Dawes Roll.
Around 1897, she married Marcu De Lafayette Baird in Indian Territory. He was Merchant of a General Store. They would live their lives in Chelsea and were the parents of 6 girls and 3 boys. To my current knowledge they are:
Nora L Baird 1898 –
Charles L Baird 1899 –
Jettie Ann Baird 1900 –
Lessie Morice Baird 1904 –
Kirk Lafayette Baird 1906 – 1977
Shelly Dwight Baird 1908 – 1989
Isabell Molly J Baird 1910 –
Alma Baird 1912 –
Susie Pauline Baird 1914 – 1918
Susie preceded her husband in death by 2 years. They are buried here together and many family members rest here also. She is the wife of my 2nd cousin, 2x rem.
Be at peace Susie...
