Mrs. Dorothy Edwards, who observed her 72nd birthday on last Tuesday, died about 7 0'clock Thursday night at St. Mary's Hospital in Jefferson City of Choledocholethisis. She had made her home at 100 Revine Street, Fulton.

Funeral services will be held Saturday afternoon at 2:30 0'clock at the Wallace Funeral home in Fulton. The Reverend E.W. Berlekamp, paster of the Evangelical and Reformed Church of Jefferson City, will officiate and burial will be in Hillcrest Cemetary.

A native of Danville, Illinois, Mrs. Edwards was born on January 12, 1882 to the late Charles W. and Emma Viola (Stricker) Tolar. She was married July 3, 1904 to James Henry Edwards who died in Searcy, Arkaksas, a number of years ago.

Mrs Edwards attended Gollaway College in Seary and after her marriage made her home in Blytheville, Arkansas, where her husband practiced law.

She moved to Fulton, Missouri in 1920 from Blytheville, Arkansas. On December 28 of the past year she entered St. Mary's Hospital and later underwent surgery.

She was a member of the Blytheville Methodist Church.

The couple had seven children, including twin daughters who died at birth. Three sons also preceeded her in death.

Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. June Nienheuser of Jefferson City, Missouri formally of Fulton, Missouri and Mrs Dorothy Lane of Jefferson City, Missouri formally of Gruthie, Missouri. Also surviving are two step-daughters, Mrs. Bob Dawson and Mrs. Stanley Stratton, both of Memphis, Tennesee; ten grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
