My granddaddy was a very tall man and had a wicked sense of humor. He loved to play jokes on everyone so we stayed on our toes when he was around. He had red hair when he was young but I only knew him with very little hair. He was a salesman most of his life and had a very modest income. He and my grandmama had 3 girls and one boy. I don't know how they raised four children in the small home they had in Thunderbolt. I guess life was much different then.
