Daisy E. Baker
Mrs. [Daisy] E. BAKER, who for a number of years resided seven miles southeast of Rochester on U.S. 31, died at 4 a.m. today at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Von MIKESELL, of 1150 E. Altgeld avenue, South Bend. She had made her home with her daughter for the past year.
The daughter of Samuel O. and Elizabeth ZARTMAN WAGONER, she was born near Wagoners Station southeast of Rochester on Oct. 30, 1872. Her husband, Phillip BAKER, preceded her in death in 1908. Mrs. Baker was a member of the Mud Lake Chapel of Christ and the Maccabee lodge.
Survivors are two sons, Roy [BAKER] of Macy, and Ray [BAKER], of Rochester; one daughter, Mrs. Von MIKESELL of South Bend; five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. One son preceded her in death.
Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. CST Wednesday at the Mud Lake Chapel and burial will be in the Plainview cemetery west of Macy.
The body will be taken from the Ditmire funeral home to her residence where friends may call after 2 p.m. Tuesday.
