Ray Baker
Ray BAKER, 97, formerly of Rt. 1, Rochester, died at 1:45 p.m. Monday in the Rochester Nursing Home.
He was born March 29, 1890 in Miami County to Philip and Daisy WAGONER BAKER. He lived all of his life in Fulton County. He was married Jan. 24, 1925 in South Bend to Sarah I. ESTABROOK, who died June 10, 1987. He was a retired farmer and a member of the Rochester Church of Christ.
Surviving are three sons, Oris BAKER, Rt. 6, Rochester; Jerry BAKER, Rt. 5, Rochester, and Philip BAKER, Glendale, Ariz.; six granddaughters; two step-grandsons, and four great-grandsons. Two brothers and a sister preceded in death.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday in the Zimmerman Brothers Funeral Home, Rochester, with Elder Milam ANDERSON officiating. Burial will be in the Rochester I.O.O.F. Cemetery. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday and after 9 a.m. Thursday. Memorials may be made to the Fulton County Senior Citizens mini-bus fund.
