She was born July 22, 1901 in Emmitt Canyon, Idaho, a daughter of Joseph Aaron and Rebecca Young Myler. She married Alfred D. Morrill December 28, 1921 in Duchesne; he died March 31, 1969.She has been an outstanding mother and homemaker. Was Uintah Basin Mother-of-the year, and Utah Honorary Mother-of-the-Year, 1983. Enjoyed quilting, crocheting, flowers and won honors with her canning and handiwork at county fairs.
An active member of the LDS Church, she served as primary President, secretary of Relief Society and Primary, and in many teaching positions.
She moved to the Uintah Basin at age five, her parents homesteaded on the Myton Bench. Her vary, long life is a product of those tough earlier years.
She is survived by daughters and son, Mrs. Percy (Erma) Stewart, Roosevelt; Mrs. Boyd (Metta) Barnes, Centerville; Mrs. Larry (Ardith) Abegglen, Vernal; Max D. and Hope Morrill, Salt Lake City; Mrs. Rodney (LaRae) Perry, Roy; Mrs. Eugene (Ilene) Mellin, St. Paul, Minn.; daughter-in-law, Tamara Morrill Peltier, Vernal; 38 grandchildren; 111 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Willard (Arvilla) Day, St. George; and Ellen Dodge, Pleasant Grove. She was preceded in death by a son, Lyn A. Morrill, one grandchildren, two great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
Funeral services 1:00 p.m., Monday, July 1, 1991, at the Roosevelt LDS 4th Ward Chapel, 10 South State. Friends may call Sunday, from 7-9 p.m. at the Olpin-Hullinger Mortuary, and Monday, at the church, from 11:00 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. Burial in the Roosevelt Memorial Park.
