Hiram W. Hunsaker, an Old Citizen, Passed Away.

Hiram W. Hunsaker, a lifelong resident of Liberty, died at his home Tuesday evening and now lies buried in the Nation cemetery.

Mr. Hunsaker's illness was of two years' duration. When he at first began complaining his ailment baffled the skill of the physicians, but later on it was found that he was suffering from an internal cancer.

Mr. Hunsaker was born in Liberty township October 15, 1848, therefore being 55 years of age. He leaves to mourn his loss his wife, two sons. Blanchard and Clifford, and three daughters. Mrs. Grant Moore and the Misses Ida and Maud Hunsaker. One son died in infancy. There are also surviving four brothers James of Clayton Illinois; Frank of Novelty, Missouri; Stephen of Decatur, Arkansas, and Joseph C. Hunsaker of Liberty: a half-brother, Edward Wells of Liberty, and two sisters. Mrs. Hannah Leslie of Decatur, Arkansas, and Mrs. Jane Bowling of Concord township.

The deceased had a wide acquaintance and was held in high regard by 'everybody. Intimate friends called him by the nickname of (Hike) instead of Hiram.
