Funeral services for Claudy Ray Main, 85, Colton, will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Holman, Hankins, Bowker & Waud. Vault internment will be in Elwood Community Cemetery. He died Saturday at this home.
Born in Rich Hill, Mo., he was a former Oregon City resident and had worked for Hawley Pulp and Paper Company. He was a member of the Elwood Community Board of trustees.
Survivors include his wife, Velma; a son, Oran Main, Hughson, Calif; a daughter, Irene Brooks, Garberville, Calif.; a brother, Walter Main, Los Angles; sisters, Edna Spratt and Susie Le Neve, Butler, Mo., Frances Smith, Eugene and Edith LaFarge, Missouri; six grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
Claudy Ray Main married Velma Cecille Cox on 1 March 1917 in Mariposa County, Arizona.
